This conference aims to presents the opportunities in 4 Southern States of India and establish a platform for "The Indo-German business collaboration through Risk Sharing Partnerships"
Speakers from India and Germany will present the scope and way forward for such Partnerships.
This conference highlights the 'factors & sectors' which led India to become world's 7th largest economy and fast growing market.
Through this conference we aspire to discuss the potential of following State capitals in terms of the opportunities for business and cooperation.

1. Mrs. Pratibha Parkar - Consul General of India Frankfurt
Mrs. Pratibha Parkar joined the Indian Foreign Service in the year 2000 and commenced her diplomatic career in the Embassy of India, Moscow.
Later, she worked as First Secretary in the Embassy of India Jakarta, Indonesia and as Counsellor in the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations in New York. She also worked in the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi as Under Secretary for Myanmar (2006-2008) and as Director for Bangladesh and Myanmar (2014-2017).
Mrs. Pratibha Parkar joined as Consul General of India Frankfurt on 3 August 2017.
Mrs. Pratibha Parkar is a post-graduate in History from University of Mumbai. She is married to Mr. Sugandh Rajaram, a fellow Diplomat and has a daughter, aged 13.
2. Dr. rer. nat. Nagaraja Sallagundala - Research fellow, Fraunhofer IMW
Dr. Sallagundala, a research fellow at Fraunhofer IMW, has a diversified work experience with competencies in research and as a technology expert across different industrial sectors. Nagaraja Sallagundala trained at Humboldt University of Berlin obtained his doctoral degree in Neuroscience. For a brief stint, he worked as a research fellow at Neuroscience Institute, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, USA.He holds an Executive MBA from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and Harvard Business School, USA.
His expertise is in innovation and international management. His core competence is - digital manufacturing and transformation at organizational level setting growth & digital initiatives in manufacturing and service sectors.
His professional experience spans across three major countries viz., Germany, USA and India in the fields of technology adaptation & management for German & EU companies globally.
During the years, he is closely associated with ‘Product Development & Business Logic’ and developing - Project Processes across different industrial sectors.
3. Mr. Oliver Wack - VDMA - Area Manager East & South Asia
Mr. Oliver Wack is since 2001 the Area Manager East and South Asia and Trade Policy Advisor with the German Engineering Association VDMA. With 3,200 members, the VDMA is the largest network and important industrial association of mechanical engineering in Germany and Europe.

5. Mr. Jörg Podehl - Hoffmann Liebs
Mr. Jörg Podehl is heading the India Desk of Hoffmann Liebs in Dusseldorf. He is a specialist in employment law and an expert on distribution law. Legal aspects of business transactions with India form one of the focal points of his activities. In this field, he also advises on international arbitration. Jörg supports clients on all legal issues in connection with machinery supply contracts and distribution systems, as well as Joint Ventures and contracts relating to sales representatives, authorized distributors and consultants. He has authored various publications on Indian Business law. Jörg is heading the Dusseldorf chapter of German Indian Roundtable.
