This conference aims to presents the opportunities in 4 Southern States of India and establish a platform for "The Indo-German business collaboration through Risk Sharing Partnerships"

1. Mr. Madan Lal Raigar - Consul General of India - Hamburg


Mr. Madan Lal Raigar, is the Consul General of India in Hamburg since August 2016. He joined the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India in 1989. In addition to working in different capacities at the Ministry’s New Delhi headquarters, Mr. Raigar got posted at the Indian Embassies / Consulate Generals / High Commissions in Khartoum (Sudan), Vancouver (Canada), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). Prior to assuming his current assignment, Mr. Raigar was the First Secretary & Head of Chancery in Antananarivo (Madagascar).

Dr.Philipp Behrendt is the head of the Practice Area Disputes & Investigations of Taylor Wessing in Germany. He focuses on commercial and product liability disputes before German Courts and arbitration tribunals. Philipp is a member of DRI, the world’s largest association of defence counsel for business. For DRI he serves as Country Chair for Germany and Vice Chair of the International Committee.

4. Ms.Iris Winkler - Pricewaterho use Coopers GmbH

Ms.Iris Winkler is senior Manager of PWC and heading the Indian German Business Group in Düsseldorf since 2008.
Previously, she has worked with PwC India, Bangalore, and has built up the German Desk in Bangalore (2007-2008).
Iris has substantial experience in international taxation, in particular in serving German and Indian clients on cross border tax matters and tax structuring.
She regularely publishes Articles in tax magazines on International Tax Law & Indian Tax Law.

6. Ms.Seema Bhardwaj - Rödl & Partner


Ms.Seema Bhardwaj is an Indo- German Legal professional heading India desk of Rödl & Partner in Berlin. Rödl & Partner is the “Legal and Tax Partner” of the Make in India Mittelstand (MIIM) program of the Embassy of India in Berlin. She helps structure European companies in their India entry strategy. Her focus areas are Investment related laws, commercial laws, contract law, employment and international expatriate laws. She has authored various publications on Indian Business laws.
Seema is heading the Berlin chapter of German India Roundtable and is a founding member of Indo German Association for Legal Cooperation – IGAL
